Frequently Asked Questions

Are my sessions kept confidential?

Yes, any information shared is kept strictly between us.  I am obligated, however, to contact the appropriate parties if my clients are potentially dangerous to themselves or others.

Are my sessions covered by insurance?

No.  I work in the field of personal growth.  Insurance only covers work provided by mental health professionals, such as medical doctors, psychologists, and social workers.

What if I need to reschedule a call?

If you need to reschedule your call, please give me at least 24-hour notice.  If you have an emergency, we will work around it.  If you must cancel a call, we will make it up during the month.

What if I miss a call?

If you miss a scheduled call without 24-hour notice, the call will not be rescheduled.  If you are not available at the scheduled time, the call will still end at the usual time.  I will do my best to accommodate you, but I have appointments scheduled based upon my staying within the limits of the time agreed.

Can I contact you between our scheduled sessions?

Yes, I am here to support you both during and between our sessions.  If you have something to ask or share between our phone calls, please e-mail me.  I want to know what is going on with your life.
