Marsha Kellar, B.S., R.N.

Having worked in women's and children's health services for the past 19 years, I delight in helping overwhelmed new moms transform into women who are healthy, happy, and confident in themselves.

Patients, friends, neighbors, and even strangers at the store (yes, it's happened!) approach me for guidance and the answers they need to become the women they're meant to be.

I have a B.S. degree in Education and work for an inner-city hospital as a Mother-Baby nurse.  I enjoy reading, walking, alternative medicine, traveling, and spending time with my husband of 35 years, my adult children, and my young grandchildren.

A Valuable Resource - Personal Consulting for New Moms

Some new moms actually panic when it’s time to take their baby home from the hospital. They can’t believe the nurses are allowing them to take the baby home, and they question their own abilities to care for the baby.

New motherhood is a major life transition for women.  Frequently, initial excitement gives way to struggle and panic, leaving new moms with overwhelming feelings of frustration, uncertainty, and self-doubt as they wonder, "What do I do now?"

"Bloom where you're planted."

It doesn't have to be that way.  New motherhood can be a positive, healthy experience.  As a personal consultant for women, I'm here to provide you the knowledge, support, and guidance you need to feel comfortable and confident in your new life role.  Together, we will:

§        Talk through frustrations

§        Work on goals

§        Set a course of action

§        Celebrate success

I'm not a psychologist and I'm not a therapist.  Instead, I'll be your personal advocate, a coach to help you figure out what you're doing, where you're going, and how to succeed once you're there.  Working with me includes:

§        Scheduled phone meetings

§        E-mail access between our meetings

§        Knowledgeable advice from a professional nurse and educator

§        Unique and extensive tools and strategies

§        In-person meetings available in the Denver area
